Hours after the devastating fire this past Sunday morning, the Board met to begin the process of restoring Cole Acres Golf and Grill. We are in constant communications with each other, insurance representatives, contractors, service providers and government officials. We are in the process of providing temporary electrical, internet, phone and water services. A tent has been set up and a temporary office is on order. Portable coolers are in place and we are working on a solution to provide limited food service. Two upgraded restrooms are available along with portable toilets. What few items that were usable have been salvaged and demolition of the structure will take place very soon. The pavilion will stay in place until new construction begins. We are conducting preliminary discussions with building design firms to provide design options and costing estimates. When this process reaches a point for decisions, we will involve the Membership. Many thanks to our staff, volunteers and local businesses for the hard work and outpouring of support and resources. Your response has truly been amazing. This will be a long and arduous journey, but we are confident the result will be an exciting new chapter for our beloved Cole Acres Golf and Grill!
